Had a really great experience overall at Charcoal Grill. We ordered the Smash It burger, chicken malai, and beef bihari rolls, and honestly, everything tasted amazing. The flavors were on point, and you can tell they put real effort into making the food taste good—no complaints at all there. The only small thing I’d mention is the fries. They weren’t fully cooked and could use a bit more attention. Just a quick quality check before serving would make a big difference. Other than that, everything was spot on. I’ll definitely be coming back again for more!

We visited this spot around 8 pm. It was decently crowded, but we still found a parking spot easily. Keep in mind it is pick-up only, as there is no seating area.The food was MINDBLOWING,MOUTHWATERING FINGERLICKING GOOD,ZABIHA HALAL, REASONABLY PRICED and the quality is incredibly authentic. We ordered the "Smash It" burger, which featured soft brioche buns and a crispy, perfectly seasoned beef patty with delicious sauces and lettuce.The main showstopper, however, was the Beef Bihari Kebab. The portion was generous, and it was probably the best I’ve tasted in all of Chicago. It comes served with a paratha and three chutneys: tamarind, mint, and garlic. Do not sleep on the chutneys—they take the kebab to the next level!The only downside is the wait time, but the quality and quantity of the food completely justify it. I can't wait to come back!

The charcoal chicken burgers are delicious. The meat portion is satisfying and has a flavor profile similar to Indian or Pakistani cuisine. They had a one-plus-one offer going on, which was a great deal considering the price and the generous amount of meat. The potato wedges served on the side were also tasty and filling. Overall, it’s a must-try!

This spot is great! The people that work there are very friendly and make wonderful recommendations. We tried the burger with fries as well as a rice bowl. All the food was very tasty and flavorful. The food was also very fresh! We will definitely be back!

I recently tried the Chicken Bihari Masala Fries and the Beef Seekh Kabab Bun from Charcoal Grill and I’m still thinking about it! Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced nothing overpowering, just pure desi comfort done right. The beef seekh kabab bun was so good that I almost forgot to take a picture for this review… as you can see, I was nearly done before I remembered! That’s how you know it was worth it. The chutney inside paired with the crunchy onions took it to another level. The chicken bihari fries were equally impressive. The masala was on point, topped with fresh onions and bell peppers, and the chicken was so tender it literally melts in your mouth. Service was friendly and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size. Definitely ordering again. Highly recommend!
